“I first met Rocky a few years ago on one of Cleobella’s first photoshoots. The shoot took place on a horse ranch—and Rocky rode that horse like a true Goddess! At one point the horse freaked out and bucked Rocky into the air—she went flying! I completely panicked but then quickly recognized Rocky’s strength. She picked herself up with a big smile on her face and got right back on that horse. I was instantly drawn to her inner beauty and confidence; she truly has a glow about her that shines from within.
Rocky is the type of female you fall in love with from the moment you meet. She's extremely down to earth; when you’re in her presence she makes you feel like you've known her forever. She's a traveler at heart, a dreamer who is living such an exciting life but remains incredibly humble and genuine.
Rocky’s sense of style is effortless, and she has a fantastic eye for fashion. Most people might not know this but she is actively involved in the creative direction behind many of her photoshoots. As a model it's one thing to be a pretty face but it's another skill to treat it as a business—I'm so impressed by her point of view and direction.
She holds her family dear to her—which also shows her character. I love her definition of her husband aka the Unicorn: “a laid back surfer who's also a professional” is a rare combination to find and I've always respected this in my husband Jim as well.
When you meet Rocky it's obvious she has manifested this beautiful life. She is an inspiration to me because I believe that True Beauty is not measured by our physical form, but in our Soul. It's the story of our life and the relationships we have with family and friends. It is kindness, strength, and intelligence. #RockyBella is a true Bella Beauty!"

"My name is Rachel, but Rocky was a nickname my mom has called me since I was a baby, and has recently caught on to the rest of the world!
I have always loved fashion, but in high school didn't really have the money to buy all of the clothes I wanted. So instead I started cutting and resewing vintage shirts. It caught on with a bunch of girls at school, and next thing I knew I was spending all my time after school making custom shirts for all the girls. I even started selling some at local boutiques.
I started modeling when I was scouted at a trade show in SD about 6 years ago. It was never my intent to end up modeling but is has all worked out for the best. I love my job and being able to create inspiring images, and work with so many talented creatives. The travel is definitely my favorite part about my job; I am so lucky to have been able to see so many magical places! I’ve also become a great sleeper (I can sleep anywhere, and especially well on any airplane ride for the whole flight!)
I don't really have normal days...there is very little consistency in modeling. One day can be in the studio and the next day flying to some exotic destination. But when I am home I love routine. A typical day off starts with coffee, then usually yoga or a walk to the cove, followed by working on my blog or finding inspiration. I love to cook too so I try and cook for me and my husband on nights I'm home too.
My husband is what I like to call ”a unicorn”. I have always been attracted to the beach lifestyle and in result have dated a lot of surfers...He is the mythical creature being that he is a surfer and has a job he is passionate about:) He is amazing, and so supportive of my career and travels.
My family is everything. They are the people that are there for you no matter what. I feel so lucky to have such a loving safety net for life. I was so excited to have my whole family down to my house in La Jolla for Christmas. It was a new tradition I started when I got married. "
From Rocky’s mom, Cruz Nobleza: “My Rocky was born to do great things—am I too biased? She walked at 9 months and broke into a run that has never stopped. She is focused, a self-starter, honorable and loyal to a fault. She’s so creative, has a great eye and amazing style. She has inherited a strong work ethic and makes us so proud everyday! She is smart and beautiful—inside and out! A gift and a teacher for me in this life.”
"I have been a fan of Cleobella for years but fell even more in love with the company and the designer/owner Angela after I was lucky enough to model for one of their lookbooks a few years ago. To me, ‘Bella’ is an all-encompassing term. It means all things beautiful inside and out, and is also a term of endearment."
I’m not sure where the fascination with skulls came from, because I really don't like anything scary...I hate horror movies, and being scared. But for me I think I like when people make something beautiful out of the unexpected, it’s a beautiful surprise... (Cleobella note: We loved seeing how Rocky carried our Skull bag around the world with her!)
