WANDER WITH LOVE: NEW YORK

"The city seen from the Queenboro Bridge is always the city seen for the first time, in its first

wild promise of all the mystery and beauty in the world."

- F. Scott Fitzgerald

WHERE TO EAT

Jack's Wife Freda - If there is one place you go for brunch, this is it.

Los Tacos No. 1- Seated in Chelsea Market, this is the perfect mid shopping break spot. And the tacos? Out of this world.

Aunt Jake's - A Caprese cocktail that will have you feeling like you are eating salad and homemade pasta made fresh daily.  Its all about balance after all.

Levain Bakery - They keep the options simple, but you will be thanking us when you are eating the best cookie you've ever had.

WHAT TO DO

Chelsea Market - This open area market is the perfect way to escape the fall chill while enjoying some incredible food and getting in a little shopping.

The Whitney - New York's Museum of American Art does not disappoint with incredible new exhibitions coming in all the time.  The view from the 8th floor is one of our faves too.

Central Park - There truly is nothing like the magic of Central Park in the Fall.  There is not better place to see the seasons change.

Radio City Rockettes - A tradition that bring alive the holiday spirit, this show starts 2 week before Thanksgiving.

A FEW TIPS

Have a solo adventure - There's nothing like the power that comes from experiencing a new city all on your own.  Take a walk through a neighborhood, sit at a coffee shop, or explore a museum - its pretty incredible the people you will meet along the way.

Public transportation - For those traveling from a place without a subway system, this may seem daunting but it truly is the best way to see the city.

Pick a neighborhood and stick to it - Don't get us wrong, we love the subway as much as the next, but we still don't want to spend our whole day riding it.  There is so much to do in each neighborhood that our recommendation is to pick one per day, so you can get the full experience: West Village one day, Chelsea the next.
